I've always been curious: what exactly is an astronaut's salary? I found it interesting to learn that people working at NASA earn between $105,000 and $161,000 per year. It varies quite a bit depending on experience and the type of mission they undertake.

But then the question came up—what's the salary of an astronaut at other agencies? Like, is it less at the European Space Agency or the Russian space agency? I was thinking it must be quite different depending on the country and how much each invests in their space program.

The cool thing is that an astronaut's salary also depends a lot on how many missions you've completed. The more experienced you are, the more money you make. It's not small, considering you're risking your life out in space. There are probably good benefits too that aren't reflected in the base salary.

Some people have dreamed of this since childhood. I keep wondering if all the preparation and risk are really worth it, you know? But at least now I know what an astronaut's salary at NASA is. Who knows, maybe one day I'll become one?
