Gate News, March 20 - Grayscale has filed an application to list the Grayscale HYPE ETF, an exchange-traded fund that will track the native Hyperliquid HYPE token. According to the S-1 filing submitted on Friday, if approved, the fund will list on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol GHYP, and will use a custodian as a depository partner as well as apply CoinDesk's Benchmark pricing data. The filing also notes that HYPE staking is currently prohibited, but there are staking conditions that may be met in the future. Additionally, Grayscale is not the first institution to file an application for establishing a HYPE-related fund, as companies like 21Shares and Bitwise have filed applications since late last year.$ETH $BTC
