Sunday reflection: I've been doing this for almost a decade now. Here's what I wish I could tell my 2017 self...

Stop chasing every green candle like it's going to make you rich overnight, because the market will humble you in ways you're genuinely not ready for. I lost count of how many times I thought I had it figured out, only to watch everything I'd built disappear in a single week because I had no process, structure and was just trading on pure emotion.
The thing nobody told me in 2017 was that the money was never the hard part. The hard part was learning to trust a system, when the market is screaming at you to do the opposite. I watched people around me blow their accounts, blame the market, and walk away forever while I sat there and actually asked myself what I was doing wrong year after year.
I spent years being consistently inconsistent until I stopped treating trading like a get rich quick scheme and started treating it like a skill I genuinely had to earn. Nobody handed me the framework I trade with today, I built it through losses I couldn't afford and lessons I had to learn twice.
If you're still in your early days, the edge isn't in finding the perfect entry. It's in building something repeatable that keeps you in the game long enough to actually get good at it. Most people never make it that far.
