U.S. stock market's three major index futures extend declines at the opening, with Dow futures down 2%

Gate News Report, March 8 — At the start of today’s trading session, the three major U.S. stock index futures declined further. The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures (the benchmark index for the U.S. stock market) fell by 2%, the Nasdaq Index futures (the U.S. technology stock index) dropped 1.65%, and the S&P 500 Index futures (the U.S. large-cap stock index) declined by 1.7%.
