According to the latest update from Bitmine, the well-known cryptocurrency mining company is deploying a comprehensive strategy for their Ethereum validator operations. As of December 28, 2025, Bitmine’s total ETH stakes have reached 408,627 tokens, representing approximately $1.2 billion USD at the current valuation (based on ETH price of $3.21K).
Commercial Validator Network Launch
The flagship project is the MAVAN (Manufactured Validator Network of America), a large-scale Ethereum validator infrastructure developed by Bitmine in partnership with three established staking service providers. The target launch date is set for 2026, bringing the company into the next phase of staking ecosystem participation.
According to a statement by Tom Lee, Chairman of BitMine: “When Bitmine’s complete ETH portfolio is actively validated through MAVAN and our partners, the annual staking rewards will reach $374 million USD.” This demonstrates a significant revenue stream from Ethereum validation services, offering a sustainable income model for the company.
Shareholders Meeting and Corporate Governance Updates
Bitmine will hold its annual shareholders meeting on January 15, 2026. During this meeting, shareholders will vote on four critical agenda items:
Election of 8 board directors for the upcoming year
Approval of revised corporate bylaws to strengthen the authorized common shares allocation
Ratification of the 2025 Comprehensive Incentive Plan for employee compensation and retention
Approval of a non-binding advisory basis for a special performance-based compensation package for the Executive Chairman
These updates reflect Bitmine’s commitment to structured growth and transparent governance as they expand their staking operations within the Ethereum ecosystem.
