Why Does Walrus Separate Data from Execution — And What Does That Enable

With an economic enforcement mechanism (staking, challenging availability and penalizing violations), Walrus turns reliability into a protocol rule, independent of trust or reputation.
The result is a true Data Availability layer for the modular blockchain world: rollups and smart contracts run fast, while data is always ready for verification.
