There's something being overlooked here: the potential of MCPs as standalone applications for Claude Code users. Most people are treating MCPs as auxiliary tools, but the real opportunity sits in building them as independent, fully-featured apps. When you think about it, Claude Code opens up a whole new layer of capability—developers can leverage MCPs directly within their workflow, eliminating the friction of context switching. That's a big deal. The architecture supports it, the use cases are there, yet adoption remains niche. Whether it's automation frameworks, data processing pipelines, or integration layers—MCPs designed as standalone solutions could unlock serious value. We're probably just scratching the surface on what's possible here.

NGL, this idea is indeed interesting, but currently, those competing for MCPs haven't figured out the business model yet...

Bro, your idea, based on the supply and demand curve, the floor price of MCPs is indeed seriously undervalued. Everyone treats it as a supplementary tool, not realizing that the true value lies in the "independent application" path. It's like during Van Gogh's time when no one appreciated his paintings, but now... Anyway, I've already gone all in, and Schrodinger's bull market is just like that.

Bro, I really didn't think of that angle. The potential of MCP as an independent application has indeed been underestimated.

Honestly, I never really considered MCPs as standalone applications before, and now I kind of regret not betting on it earlier.

ngl MCPs from the perspective of being standalone applications, no one has really thought about it seriously; most people just treat it as an auxiliary tool.
