Do you know what a succession is? It is the legal mechanism through which a person's assets are transferred when they pass away. ngl this succession thing hits different when you realize it's basically legacy planning before the blockchain era... my students always ask me why we don't have smart contracts handling this already lol

tbh this whole succession thing sounds like they're basically describing a trustless inheritance protocol but with lawyers instead of cryptography lol... technically speaking, the real innovation would be if they actually implemented pre-signed transactions during lifetime to avoid the whole mess. just saying.
