Looking at all the public chain projects that have emerged over the past few years, you will notice an interesting phenomenon: almost everyone is competing on speed, innovation, and concepts. But very few seriously address the question—why do institutions want to use you? This is not a small issue.

Dusk’s existence, in a sense, is a direct response to this question. Since its inception in 2018, the project has maintained a steady pace, not chasing hot trends. From a purely narrative speed perspective, you can indeed feel a sense of "slowness." But from another angle, viewing it through a financial lens, you will suddenly realize—this kind of slowness is likely intentional.

The real financial world is very different from a laboratory. Any infrastructure that aims to be adopted by institutions must prioritize not just TPS numbers. The three most urgent factors are: clear responsibility, compliance feasibility, and sustainable operation. Regulation is not an external shackle but an integral part of the system itself. Dusk has incorporated this philosophy directly into its protocol architecture from the very beginning, rather than patching it later with some "compliance plugins."

The key logic here is: Dusk is not fighting regulation but trying to turn regulation itself into on-chain executable code. In other words, it’s not about "how to bypass rules," but "whether rules can become part of the chain." These are two completely different paths.

Regarding privacy, Dusk’s attitude is particularly restrained. It does not pursue absolute anonymity. Instead, it emphasizes selective disclosure and auditable design. Here, privacy is not used to conceal actions but to protect reasonable business information, which can be verified when needed. This approach aligns closely with traditional financial logic.

Traditional finance has never been a simple black-and-white framework. Layered permission controls, conditional triggers, clear responsibility divisions—these are all lessons learned from hundreds of years of operation of traditional financial systems. Dusk has brought this entire framework onto the chain.

Because of this design philosophy, Dusk is more likely to appear in discussions about "future financial infrastructure." Not as a radical crypto experiment, but as something that could genuinely transform the financial foundation. The difference in positioning may seem small, but it has a huge impact on the long-term value assessment of the project.

Slow work produces fine craftsmanship. This is what infrastructure should look like. Compared to those who boast about TPS every day, Dusk's "slow" approach is more like cultural relic restoration — no need to rush.

Ha, now that's the truth. What's the use of just bragging about TPS on other chains? --- Slow work produces fine craftsmanship. Dusk's approach may seem dull, but it indeed hits the pain points of institutions. --- Selective disclosure > absolute anonymity. I approve of this idea. --- Finally, someone clarifies why public chains are so competitive yet few are usable. --- Writing regulation into code—this idea is quite bold. --- Not pursuing absolute anonymity can be more valuable. What did you think of? --- All projects are competing on speed, but they are hit by Dusk's "slow" approach. --- Financial infrastructure ≠ laboratory. This distinction needs to be clearly explained. --- Balancing privacy and auditability sounds more reliable than those sneaky designs. --- Why institutions use you is indeed the core issue that has been overlooked.

This is the right way—focusing on compliance rather than speed and overworking.
