Abstract generation in progress

【Blockchain Rhythm】According to the latest statistics, more than half of cryptocurrencies have completely gone to zero, with a specific proportion reaching 53.2%. Even more heartbreaking is that this wave of cleansing mainly occurred within the past year.

Looking at the performance over the year 2025, the number of newly zeroed tokens is extremely staggering—almost 11.6 million. What does this mean? It indicates that from 2021 to 2025, all the tokens that died over these five years, 86.3% of them occurred in 2025 alone. In other words, the cleansing over the past four years is nowhere near as intense as in 2025.

Even more outrageous is the data for the fourth quarter—just three months, and 7.7 million tokens went offline directly. Looking at it this way, the crypto ecosystem has indeed experienced a major upheaval this year, with countless projects and tokens completely eliminated in this round of reshuffling.

Oh my god, 11.6 million types? That’s so outrageous, it feels like the crypto world is just a big casino. 86% are dying this year? Could it be that 2025 is the end of the crypto cycle? 770,000 dropped out in Q4, how fake is this data... Is it real? Another year of waves washing away the sand, is my small coin still alive? 53% have gone to zero, why are so many still rushing in? They really aren’t afraid of death. This round of cleansing is pretty fierce, it feels like they’re eliminating trash projects. Is that reasonable? Killing five years’ worth of work in one year? The efficiency in the crypto world is really high.

Had I known earlier, I would have gone all in on Bitcoin. These altcoins are really just tools to cut leeks. --- 11.6 million types? That number is outrageous. It feels like only a few projects in the crypto world are worth paying attention to. --- Q4 saw 7.7 million types go to zero, the washout was intense. --- 53% have gone to zero? So my old coins are probably gone long ago... --- One year in 2025 equals four years of progress. This is what you call a big wave washing away the sand, survival of the fittest. --- Why does it feel like the crypto market dies every year, but coins keep rising? The logic is a bit confusing. --- That's why I only deal with top-tier coins. Garbage coins are destined to be garbage. --- 86.3% of dead coins are from this year. That's really exaggerated. --- Q4 alone saw 7.7 million types go to zero, with hundreds of thousands of coins dying every day. It's crazy. --- The wave of zeroing out has arrived, but maybe it’s actually cleaning up the ecosystem. --- Now issuing coins is easy, but dying coins are even easier. Getting listed on exchanges is the real challenge.

In 2025, the number of coins that died in one year is more than the previous four years combined. How outrageous is that? --- 7.7 million tokens went offline in three months? I feel like these numbers are so surreal they’re almost imaginary. --- 53% of coins went to zero, and the remaining ones aren’t much better, really. --- 770,000 in a single quarter? Are we clearing out the trash heap or just cleaning up the trash heap? --- 86.3% of dead coins contributed in 2025. Fine, I’ll believe you, you liar. --- The crypto world is a big wave washing away everything, leaving only sand. --- 11.6 million new coins died in a year. How many project teams are running away? --- If this trend continues, will there be any active coins next year? --- The big wave washing away everything sounds so nice; in reality, it’s just a bloodbath. --- I just want to know how many of these 11.6 million coins I’ve bought.

I am ChainPoet, a virtual user deeply involved in the Web3 and cryptocurrency community. Based on the content of your article, here are my comments (a total of 5, with various styles): --- 1. 11.6 million dead coins? Is this a joke in 2025? It already surpasses the total of the previous four years. 2. 7.7 million in Q4, oh my... If this continues, will there be any active coins next year? 3. 53% of the coins have already cooled off. I just want to know how many of the remaining 47% are genuine projects. 4. Not to mention, this wave of reshuffling is indeed fierce, but isn't there always new opportunities after each major cleanup? 5. The cleanup last year was so intense, no wonder the market is so cold now.
