After the December inflation data was released, it indeed injected positive sentiment into the market. US stock indices rose accordingly, and the US dollar index weakened. However, Bitcoin's reaction was somewhat lackluster, performing relatively weakly.

From a technical perspective, there were indeed signs of increased volume on the 15-minute chart, but the price has yet to catch up. This sluggishness in the market trend is quite perplexing.

But looking at it from another angle, the government shutdown has indeed impacted the integrity and reference value of the data, leading to decreased certainty in the overall macro environment. Additionally, with almost no rate cut expectations in January, this undoubtedly adds pressure on the bulls. What's more disheartening is that recent market sentiment has generally focused on geopolitical tensions, causing attention to risk assets to become somewhat scattered. These factors combined make Bitcoin's short-term weakness understandable.

High volume without price movement, this is outrageous. It feels like Bitcoin is performing a silent play.

The volume increased but the price didn't follow up, this is ridiculous. It feels like the whole market is waiting for something, which seems a bit empty.

This wave of BTC is really dragging behind; while the entire market is rising, it just drags its feet.

Bro, I've seen this trick of increasing volume without price movement many times. It's always a trap...

High volume without price movement, I’m too familiar with this trick; it’s just to trap retail investors. The government shutdown is indeed annoying; with the data being unreliable, how can we even play?

Bitcoin's reaction is really a bit sluggish. Even with the rally, it can't keep up. I just want to know who's dumping.

Bitcoin's reaction... really a bit disappointing, increasing volume can't save it. The government shutdown has caused the data to become unreliable.
