When $ETH rallies, algorithms and traders naturally pile in—that makes intuitive sense. But here's what most people get wrong: the biggest gains typically materialize well before $ETH actually approaches its all-time high. By the time it's knocking on ATH's door, much of the easy upside is already gone.

Timing matters. Once $ETH starts grinding back toward previous peaks, narrative alone won't carry your portfolio. You can't just throw money at lagging altcoins and hope the rising tide lifts all boats. Selectivity becomes your real edge—which coins have genuine catalysts, which ones are just riding coattails? The ones that don't make the cut will get left behind, hype or no hype.

Damn, it's the same old story again. If telling stories could make money, I would have been financially free long ago.

The truth is, you should have run before the ATH, those who stay until the end are all newbies.

At the end of the day, it's all about choosing the right coins; you can't go all-in on trash shitcoins expecting a turnaround.

Well said, I'm already tired of those retail investors chasing gains and selling off. The real money is made before the ATH.

That's right, but I still tend to stumble into pitfalls; choosing coins is really tricky.

nah this is where most people fumble—they see eth pumping and think it's time to deploy. technically speaking, the easy money's already evaporated by then. need to actually identify which alts have a real vector, not just riding the narrative wave tbh

I've seen through this all along. The gains before ATH are the real deal, and once you reach the door, it's basically a game for the bagholders.

Basically, those who got in early get the gains, while those who joined later just get the leftovers. This time, it's about being selective rather than throwing everything in randomly.
