Building a true bridge currency requires first solving technical interoperability across different domestic payment systems. XRP achieves this through Ripple's Interledger Protocol (ILP), which connects disparate payment networks seamlessly.

The beauty of ILP lies in its design: it allows instant payment systems to communicate and settle transactions without requiring a common ledger. Think of it as a universal translator for payment infrastructure. When FedNow and other central bank digital systems need to interact, they can do so through this protocol layer without compromising their independent operations.

XRP's positioning here matters because it provides a neutral asset that can facilitate these cross-system settlements. Rather than forcing adoption of a single standard, ILP lets existing payment rails coexist while enabling genuine interoperability. This is fundamentally different from siloed systems that require years of bilateral integration work.

For financial rails to truly evolve, we need this kind of infrastructure-level compatibility. XRP and the Interledger Protocol represent one approach to solving that puzzle.

ILP sounds good, but honestly, it's still the same old story. Can it really be implemented? It feels like just armchair strategizing again.

ILP sounds good, but whether it can be implemented depends on whether the central banks are willing to play... Feels like just a nice story on paper.

The ILP theory sounds good, but how effective can it really be in practice? Will the central bank system actually use this? Or is it just another idealistic concept...

ILP sounds promising, but can it really be implemented... Feels like another bunch of technical optimism.

The ILP logic sounds good, but whether it can be truly implemented depends on whether central banks in various countries are willing to buy in... By the way, it's still uncertain whether XRP can support such a large market cap.

According to my analysis, the ILP system sounds quite ideal, but when it comes to real implementation? Well... it still depends on on-chain data, as wallet addresses are much more honest than whitepapers.

ILP sounds correct in theory, but in practice... after a year, we're still discussing theories.

ILP sounds really impressive, but can it really make central banks willingly use XRP as an intermediary... Maybe overthinking it a bit.
