US small-cap stocks set a seven-year winning streak, and the Russell 2000 Index hit a record high

Abstract generation in progress

【CoinPush】The US small-cap stocks have been quite active these days. The Russell 2000 Index just hit a new all-time high on Monday, and the winning streak relative to the S&P 500 has extended to seven trading days. Speaking of which, this is the longest streak of small-cap stocks outperforming large-cap stocks in seven years.

The last time we saw such a winning streak was back in January 2019. At that time, the US stock market was rebounding from a major decline.

What does this trend reflect? Small-cap stocks tend to be more sensitive and can amplify market risk appetite. When everyone starts chasing small-cap stocks, it indicates that market sentiment is heating up, and investors’ risk appetite is increasing. For the crypto market, this kind of rotation into risk assets often boosts attention to alternative assets.

Small-cap stocks are on the rise this time, quite interesting... Haven't seen this kind of scene in seven years, funds are starting to play high risk. --- I remember that wave in 2019. Is history repeating itself now? Maybe it's crypto's turn too. --- The theory of risk asset rotation sounds plausible, but can it really drive the crypto market... It still depends on policy cues. --- The Russell 2000 hitting a new high indicates that money is flowing into riskier places. Is this a good thing for us? --- Seven consecutive trading days of wins. Is this paving the way for alternative assets, or just a technical rebound? I don't want to miss out.

Once in seven years, huh? Small-cap stocks are really on a wild ride this time, with gambler mentality at its peak.

Seven years later, I finally see this scene again. I still remember the wave in 2019.

russell 2000 hitting ATH while everyone's sleeping on the macro picture... the gwei patterns are screaming similar energy to jan 2019, ngl. small caps always front-run the volatility surge before it bleeds into alts. mempool's gonna get spicy when this risk appetite fully rotates into crypto.

Small-cap stocks' longest seven-year winning streak, the first time since 2019? This time is really different.

Small-cap stocks are rising this time, indicating that big funds are starting to stir... I remember that wave in 2019, and then Bitcoin also went crazy for a while.
