People keep worrying about millennials and Gen Z getting priced out of assets. But honestly? Direct your sympathy elsewhere. Those in their 50s are the ones really squeezed—caught between inflation eroding their savings, legacy financial systems falling short, and the pressure to adapt to digital economics before retirement. Meanwhile, younger generations at least have time to learn new money strategies, whether that's understanding blockchain, DeFi, or alternative investments. The real financial crisis is happening to those too close to retirement to bounce back.

To be honest, the group of people in their 50s are really quite unfortunate. My parents' generation is a living example... After half a lifetime of savings eaten up by inflation, they still have to be pushed to learn Web3. Truly unbelievable.

Speaking of which, this viewpoint is quite sobering. People in their 50s are indeed caught in the middle and feel the most uncomfortable; young people at least can still hustle.

Damn, it's truly hopeless to be over 50. These people don't have time to mess around, they can't afford to lose.

Yeah, there's some truth to that. People in their 50s are indeed in a tricky spot... They can't keep up with new finance and have missed out on early dividends.
