CoinVoice has learned that, according to Cointelegraph, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is now fully controlled by Republicans and is expected to introduce cryptocurrency-friendly regulations in 2026. The agency will continue to implement the rulemaking support for cryptocurrencies established last year, as Republicans are generally more friendly towards the cryptocurrency industry than Democrats.
It is reported that the U.S. Senate is expected to vote on the Cryptocurrency Market Structure Act in the near future.
