Recently discovered a promising storage project. Compared to the centralized drawbacks of traditional cloud storage, this project uses data sharding and encryption on the Sui chain to host information. Interestingly, ordinary users can set up nodes using idle hard drives to earn $WAL tokens as rewards. After trying it out, I feel that the upload and download experience is quite good, with no obvious latency, and the staking entry threshold is not high, making it quite friendly for retail investors. In the overall decentralized storage track, this type of project follows a pragmatic approach with solid technical solutions. If you're optimistic about this direction, this project is definitely worth paying more attention to.

Can idle hard drives earn $WAL? The idea is indeed interesting, but can it really be reliable? The sharding solution of the Sui chain sounds good, but unfortunately, projects like this often fail due to liquidity issues. No delay in speed? Why do I feel that decentralized storage will always be limited by performance? Low threshold is a good thing, but how the token economy is designed is the key. I agree with the pragmatic approach, but can the storage sector really support a market cap?

Idle hard drive mining is back again, but the experience is really good. As long as the speed isn't a pitfall.

hold up... data sharding on sui sounds neat but we're not talking about the audit reports here? who verified this encryption scheme? 🚩

Idle hard drives can earn coins, this idea is truly brilliant and much more reliable than those air projects.

Can idle hard drives earn coins? I love this logic; it's definitely more reliable than those pure empty drives.

I like the idea of mining with idle hard drives, just worried about how long the stable performance can last.

Idle hard drives can also be used for mining. The Sui ecosystem's approach definitely has some potential.

The hard drive node earning scheme is back again. The project I played last time is now worthless...
