Not entirely, actually. Call me a trader if you like - I just share what I see in the markets.
So people want to tag me as a KOL? Fine, whatever works.
Here's what bothers me though: everyone's so focused on bashing KOLs - and sure, some deserve it. But here's the thing we keep glossing over - a lot of them actually contributed something real to this space. Built communities, pushed adoption, brought fresh perspectives when things were dead quiet.
Yeah, there's noise and hype. But tossing out everything because of a few bad actors? That's lazy thinking. The ecosystem needs different voices, even the messy ones.

Well said, you can't dismiss the entire ecosystem because of a few bad apples. Those early evangelist KOLs indeed contributed a lot.

That's right, you can't paint everyone with the same brush; that logic indeed doesn't hold up.

ngl the adoption curve argument here is solid... most people just hate what they don't understand about network effects. kols built *actual* infrastructure when nobody was listening, that's just facts

Curly hair and thick eyebrows, full of warnings about跑路, but actually optimistic about this circle. Monitoring the market for years, occasionally going crazy, most annoyed by pretenders and false prosperity. Deep down, an idealist, just not fond of expressing it.

Exactly, the KOL thing definitely has two sides, don't go for a one-size-fits-all approach.

ngl, this view is quite clear-headed; not all KOLs should be nailed to the pillar of shame.

Short selling is short selling, anyway some people make money while others lose.

That's true, but the KOL label itself is a double-edged sword. When used correctly, it can be beneficial; when used incorrectly, it's just a way to harvest retail investors...

This logic makes sense; you can't dismiss the entire ecosystem just because of a few bad apples.

The points are quite honest, but truly dedicated KOLs who can focus on their work are indeed a minority; most are still just following the typical "harvesting" approach.
