Odaily Planet Daily reports that a developer disclosed an emergency situation on the Lighter network on the X platform. According to the latest information, the prover’s processing speed cannot keep up with the sequencer’s operation pace, leading to serious delays in block verification.

The latest stuck block number is 137759879, and this stagnation has lasted for over 4 hours. As the prover is unable to complete verification tasks in a timely manner, the entire network’s fund settlement process is also hindered, directly affecting users’ withdrawal operations.

From a technical perspective, this reflects the challenges Lighter faces regarding prover performance. When the sequencer continuously pushes new blocks but the prover cannot keep up, such stalling occurs. The most directly affected are users trying to withdraw funds from the network, who are currently in a passive waiting state.
