Is a slow but extremely ruthless machine
It won't remind you to exit at the high
Nor urge you to enter at the low
It only, when the time comes,
Demands people to cash out

I've seen this situation too many times:

Talk about trends
Talk about how this time is different
Yet deliberately ignore a fact

Tax
Never accepts faith
Only accepts dollars

Under this structure,
The market often presents an enticing move
It may go up first,
Create a short squeeze,
Make the last shorts give up their chips,
Encourage the hesitant to chase high

This is not the start of a trend,
But a courtesy before liquidation

The true price
Usually returns to where it should be
Before the bill starts to take effect

If the price chooses to fall back,
It won't stop at the first discussed level,
Nor respect any emotional support,
It will keep stepping down,
Until most people start to doubt:
