The Ethereum-based NFT and gaming platform CyberKongz made headlines on August 29 with a significant announcement regarding its new token ecosystem. The project revealed that 2% of KONG’s total token supply will be distributed to the OpenSea community through an airdrop initiative targeting NFT purchasers.

KONG Token Replaces BANANA with Major Ecosystem Shift

On August 20, CyberKongz announced the launch of KONG, a new token designed to serve as the core liquidity infrastructure for its entire ecosystem. This marks a complete transition away from BANANA, the project’s previous token. The new token will be exclusively deployed on the Ethereum mainnet, with a maximum supply capped at 1 billion tokens. Existing BANANA holders will have the opportunity to convert their holdings to KONG at a conversion ratio of 1:25 during the Token Generation Event (TGE).

OpenSea Purchase Threshold Qualifies Users for Airdrop

To participate in the KONG airdrop distribution, OpenSea participants must meet specific criteria established by the CyberKongz team.
