Tried getting about 20 friends into using a Web3 payment card recently. Zero referrals came through.

Maybe the issue is on my end? Or is it just that the adoption friction for these tools is still way too high for regular users? Either way, it's a reality check on how far the space still needs to go when it comes to making onboarding frictionless enough for mainstream adoption.

Zero conversions from 20 friends, this is my alpha source

Honestly, not a single one out of 20 people converted, the ratio is truly shocking... --- Really, friends' indifference towards Web3 payment cards is just incredible --- Either your presentation method is flawed, or the product itself is still too complicated --- I think it's mainly because the entry barrier is too high; ordinary users don't have the patience to tinker --- Haha, a 0% conversion rate, I totally understand this kind of frustration --- Instead of blaming users for not buying, it's better to reflect on whether the product experience truly achieves "seamlessness" --- 20 people all rejected... this indicates the problem isn't with marketing, but with the product itself --- Wait, did you really explain clearly what the advantages are, or just say "try this"? --- adoption friction—this term is well said, we're still a long way off

Buddy, this is the reality. Web3 still needs a few more years to mature.

To be honest, I also tried this set, and in the end, only two out of 20 friends kept it... I used it for a week and then deleted it.

The supply and demand curve tells me that this is a typical failure of product-market fit, brother. --- 20 friends with zero conversions, this data is more painful than a bear market candlestick chart. --- To put it simply, Web3 payment cards are now like Da Vinci in the digital age—concepts ahead of their time, and users still don’t understand them. --- The friction is too high—even Buffett would shake his head at this, haha. --- It's not your fault; the entire track hasn't broken out of its circle yet. Don’t overthink it. --- This perfectly illustrates the bear market philosophy: even the best products are just decorations if no one uses them. --- Following the supply-side reform approach, right now it's oversupply but weak demand, a typical narrative dilemma.
