According to Dalton's calculations, if XRP were used to cover 80% of this national debt, the price per XRP would need to reach $883. This price level represents an increase of about 46,000% from the current price of $1.85. However, not all analysts agree with this idea. Skeptics point out potential legal barriers and market distortion risks due to Ripple, as the company behind the project, holding a significant amount of XRP. Matthew Sigel from VanEck favors Bitcoin over XRP as a choice for macroeconomic reserve purposes.
**Ownership Distribution and Potential Impact**
Most of the current XRP reserves are controlled by Ripple, the original founders, or major exchanges, meaning individual investors holding XRP may not fully benefit from this bullish scenario.
