Has 2025 lived up to (or down to?) the economic doom-and-gloom forecasts we heard heading into the year? A panel of seasoned market analysts from major financial outlets recently dug into exactly what went down with the economy and where things actually landed versus the predictions. The conversation cuts through the noise to explore real economic impacts and whether economists nailed their calls or completely missed the mark. What's the reality check here?

Damn, it's that old trick of prediction vs. reality again. Economists should be thoroughly proven wrong, right?

It's the same old "expert face-slapping" routine, played out every year... Last year they said collapse, this year they say stabilization, and next year they'll start pessimistic predictions again. Anyway, someone always believes whatever is said.
