How can you accurately identify leading stocks within hot sectors? I have summarized a few practical judgment criteria and want to share them with everyone.

**Time is the top priority**. Within the same sector, the first stock to hit the daily limit often deserves the most attention—especially those that quickly rise within the first 5 minutes of trading. Once such stocks appear, follow-up opportunities in the sector tend to emerge.

**Number of consecutive limit-ups and potential for gains come second**. Stocks that can continuously hit the limit-up and have the largest cumulative gains usually have stronger recognition. This indicates sustained capital attention and market approval.

**Strength is most clearly reflected in the intraday chart**. Observe the time it takes to hit the limit-up, the firmness of the order book, and the selling pressure during the session. If the intraday chart moves smoothly, it shows the upward move has solid backing and is not a weak pump.

**The final core judgment: driving effect**. After a stock hits the limit-up, can it quickly lead other stocks in the same sector to follow and rise? This is the most critical test of a true leader. Genuine leaders have a different level of influence.

These four dimensions work together to help you quickly identify truly dominant stocks in the market.

I've tried the quick limit-up move in the early session, and it is indeed easy to get crushed. It depends on the subsequent continuous limit-up ability to be meaningful.

The kind that hits the board within 5 minutes of the opening, you really have to watch it closely. Once it moves, others will follow suit.

The kind that hits the daily limit in the first 5 minutes of the morning session... you really need to keep a close eye on it. No matter how smooth the intraday chart looks, it can't withstand a sell-off.

The 5-minute quick board in the early session I’ve tried before, and it’s indeed easy to get trapped. What I feel the author didn’t mention is how to distinguish between a genuine leading stock and a bait to trap retail investors.

The 5-minute quick board in the early session is indeed a brilliant move, but the key is whether it can drive the entire sector afterward; otherwise, it will be just a fleeting moment.

The early 5-minute surge is indeed impressive, but what really matters is whether it can sustain afterward. A fake limit-up is meaningless.
