A question about MEME coins: Is this ultimately a joke in the market, a precise prophecy, or a collective counterattack by retail investors against being swept away?

Someone once said that even the dumbest consensus is still a consensus. Currently, the entire market is watching—can MEME coins truly break through the imagined heights amidst BTC reaching new highs, and transform from a playful token into a genuine asset? Or will they ultimately fall into the fate of being repeatedly exploited by Twitter influencers?

The momentum is indeed there, but whether it can truly form an "unstoppable" pattern depends on how long retail investors' consensus can be maintained. This game is far more complex than it appears on the surface.

Basically, it's about how long retail investors can hold on. I can't gamble on this. When DOGE was last popular, I saw clearly that a single word from a big influencer would make retail investors run, and the consensus is as fragile as paper. When BTC hits a new high, does MEME still dare to surge? That's just ridiculous.

To be honest, those who are still debating whether meme coins can "transform" are a bit too optimistic... Looking at history, the tactics used by big influencers to harvest retail investors have been played out countless times. Consensus disappears instantly as soon as a dump occurs.

ngl the whole "consensus legitimacy" framing here is... arguably just path dependency dressed up as inevitability. like yeah memes moon, but the sub-optimal incentive structures haven't changed. twitter v's still got all the leverage, retail just thinks they're playing 4d chess when it's more like... musical chairs with worse odds than before

nah tbh the real question is whether these meme holders even understand gas optimization when they're aping in... timing matters way more than the "consensus" they're talking about. watched three separate waves get absolutely wrecked because people didn't catch the optimal window. it's not about being collected by whales, it's about understanding when to frontrun the frontrunners, y'know?

Basically, it's about who has more chips. Consensus really can't be maintained for long.
