#以太坊行情解读 That time I got liquidated, I carried a five-figure debt. Life was tighter than anyone else's - just looking at eight yuan noodles made me swallow. In the middle of the night, staring at the candlestick chart, nibbling on two yuan instant noodles, not even willing to waste the soup. My parents sent cured meat from afar, and on the other end of the phone, my mom repeatedly reminded me not to starve myself. Who would have thought? Seven years later, there lay forty million in my account.

It's not luck; it's a way of living discovered through countless tumbles.

**The old tricks of the big players, once seen through, are not that scary**

In 2018, I chased a public chain that surged 40% in one go. It consolidated at a high level for four days and I bet it would go up again. What happened? It crashed, dropping directly by 20%, and my principal was gone.

Later I realized - the coin price surged over 35%, hovered at a high for 3 to 5 days, and then suddenly plummeted by over 15% in trading volume, which is a signal of market makers clearing their positions. Once you see through this trick, just avoid it next time.

**High-level sideways consolidation is more dangerous than a direct crash**

At the beginning of 2020, I bought a coin that hovered at a high for three months. The trading volume kept decreasing, the turnover rate fell below 1.5%, and the price was more than 25% away from the 20-day moving average. I didn’t pay much attention to it. The final result was a drop to $8. After that, I learned one thing: high-level consolidation is not consolidation, it's a bait. Now, whenever I spot this pattern, I place a short order and wait for it to drop.

**The bottom won't speak for itself, it depends on how the trading volume sings**

In June 2022, I rushed in to buy the dip on an ecological coin, thinking it was the bottom. I didn't expect it to keep falling. Later, I reviewed hundreds of bottom cases and finally understood the truth: the real bottom doesn't appear all at once; instead, it first consolidates with low volume, followed by three consecutive days of moderate volume with small bullish candles.

When Bitcoin ran to 28,000 USD in 2023, this pattern appeared. I went all in. When it surged to 45,000 USD, I sold. That money was enough for a down payment in Hangzhou.

**Trading volume is the foundation, position is the soul**

I keep reminding myself: the Candlestick Chart is just the surface that people see, while the trading volume is the true sentiment of the market. Always use only half of your funds to operate; greed and fear are both poisons.

Last year, a coin suddenly surged, but I didn't rush to follow the trend. I waited for it to break out of the range with a significant increase in volume, which expanded six times, before entering the market. As soon as the trend line was broken, I immediately took profits. Although I only made 10 times my investment, I perfectly avoided the subsequent crash, where many people lost everything.

This is the difference. Some people move forward in the market in the dark, while others light the way.
