Before the FTX collapse, SBF sought tens of billions of dollars in rescue for himself.
On August 15, 2023, the founder of TRON confirmed in an interview with CNBC that SBF had sought his help, and they discussed a preliminary rescue plan involving at least a billion dollars, which would allow users to withdraw TRON-related tokens. However, just hours after the plan was announced, SBF lost control of the exchange, and the takeover lawyer team decided to shut down the exchange completely, resulting in the overall rescue plan ultimately failing to materialize. Since then, the two sides have not been in contact.
