December 22nd, Monday morning trading strategy

From the 4-hour K-line chart of Bitcoin, combined with the real-time trends of the Bollinger Bands and MACD for further analysis, the signals for going long and short are more evident than before. The core still lies in capturing the breakthroughs and pullbacks at key levels.

First, let's look for long opportunities. The current price is stuck at 88982, just a bit away from the Bollinger upper band at 89430, so chasing the price up directly is definitely not cost-effective. A more prudent approach is to wait for a pullback to the Bollinger middle band around 88018, or even relax the range to 88500-88800 to build positions in batches. If it can effectively stabilize above the Bollinger upper band at 89430, we can also chase long positions in accordance with the trend. The stop-loss should still be placed below 87800. The short-term target is first looking at the previous high point of 90350, and after breaking through, we can look at the 91000 level.

Talking about shorting again, the MACD's DIF and DEA are still moving upwards. Although the red bars have slightly decreased in volume, they are still above the zero axis. The price is also firmly above the middle band of the Bollinger Bands, and the bears have no initiative. If one must short, it should wait for the price to touch the upper band at 89430 and then show a volume drop, with MACD indicating a death cross signal, before considering a light short position. The stop loss should be set above 89600, with the target first looking at the Bollinger middle band at 88018.

There are two more details to keep an eye on: first, the current Bollinger Bands show no obvious signs of narrowing, and the oscillation remains biased towards the upside; second, the MACD red bars are shrinking, indicating a decrease in bullish momentum, so don't rush in mindlessly just because of the rise.

In the end, it's still that sentence: Bitcoin is currently leaning bullish but the pace is slowing. Long positions should wait for a pullback, and short positions should wait for signals. Position sizes must be controlled.
