Honestly, fees are killing the whole ecosystem right now. Most traders get absolutely wrecked by high trading costs before they even get a chance to profit. The fee structure is basically the main bottleneck—you can have solid strategies, decent market conditions, but when you're paying that much per transaction, your edge just evaporates. It's not rocket science; lower fees directly mean better returns for retail players. That's where the real problem sits.
