Contract trading requires abandoning prediction of direction and focusing solely on "the moment of imbalance."

This is a short-term contract trade with a very brief cycle, but it has high replay value. At the time, market sentiment was severely polarized between bulls and bears. The candlestick chart looked chaotic, but the order book gave me a key signal: the bulls' initiative was clearly weakening, while the bears had not gained momentum.
My judgment was not "the price will fall," but rather "the bulls are not strong enough." So I didn't enter early; instead, I waited until the price failed to break higher again and the funding rate started to decline before taking a small short position, with a tight stop-loss.
The market didn't crash significantly; it just retraced quickly and then moved sideways. I took profit at all my target levels.
This trade reaffirmed one thing for me: contracts are not meant for predicting direction but for exploiting short-term imbalances. If the market doesn't show a clear advantage, don't increase your position size.
