Injective's December community buyback program has kicked off with over $250,000 allocated in the pool. The initiative targets active participants and supporters of the Injective ecosystem, rewarding engagement while simultaneously burning committed INJ tokens to strengthen long-term network value. Unlike previous rounds, this edition introduces refined mechanics aimed at deeper community participation and sustainable ecosystem growth. The buyback-and-burn model demonstrates how projects balance short-term incentive distribution with long-term tokenomics health—a strategy increasingly recognized in the Web3 space for maintaining price stability and reducing circulating supply pressure.

Another small pool of 250,000, and you still need to burn tokens to maintain the price... I've been through this before; in 2018, EOS's dividends were hyped up like this. What happened in the end?

Can burning coins stabilize the coin price? I think it's uncertain; it depends on the actual trading volume.
