With the "awakening" of Chinese people in economic pressure and emotional relationships, the market size for emotional support has expanded rapidly. The Single Economy: not wanting to have children, raising dogs. The Divorce Economy: not wanting to remarry, raising dogs. The Elderly Economy: not wanting to burden children, raising dogs. The penetration rate of pet-owning households in China has risen to 23.54%. In the United States, the pet ownership penetration rate is as high as approximately 70-71%, with 85% considering pets as "emotional companions + substitutes for children," and 78% saying it's for "someone to talk to + a daily reason to go out and walk the dog for socializing."
