Don't remind me again today

The journey? Brutal. Zero datasets on grooming cases existed. Legal databases were ancient relics. Judges kept saying no. Lawyers supported us privately but wouldn't touch it publicly.

But here's the thing—this year actually delivered. Rape survivors now have access to something that didn't exist before. The system's shifting, slowly but surely.

It really looks like a result that was forced out through sheer determination. Those lawyers who privately support but publicly cower must feel conflicted. Anyway, the victims can finally find something now.

Really, those lawyers who nod in private are the most irritating... When it comes to public occasions, all they say is “Sorry, I can’t.” But on the other hand, being able to achieve this result means the effort wasn’t wasted—the victims finally have something they can use.

This matter is really extraordinary, it has truly shaken the system from nothing to something. I am most annoyed by those lawyers who nod privately but act dead publicly... However, being able to provide real solutions for the victims makes this effort worthwhile.

To be honest, this process has been really incredible... no data, uncooperative judges, lawyers playing both sides, it felt like hitting a brick wall. But surprisingly, after the new year, there has actually been some progress; the victims have something to use, and the system is still operational.

Really, this kind of double standard within the system is the most annoying. They say they support it but are cowardly behind the scenes, and they expect the victims to wait for the system to slowly turn around.

To be honest, I understand this feeling of making do in tight circumstances—it's just incredible. A few lawyers nodding in agreement behind the scenes while acting clueless at the front desk, and the judges pretending they didn’t hear anything... But this time, there really were results. Survivors can actually make use of something tangible, and that’s a win.

This broken system finally moved... not easy.
