Ironically, every time I hear the term "AI arms race", I think of the ICO bubble in 2017... It was said that way back then too. Data shows that in the past decade, less than 15% of the tech battles that claimed to "define the next decade" have survived. Interestingly, here's another story of "whoever's AI is stronger wins the entire future". Objectively speaking, no matter how much money these people pour in, it doesn't change one fact — there are no winners in technology itself, only cycles.
