Don't remind me again today

Western economies are at a crossroads when it comes to innovation strategy. The easy route? Throw your hands up and accept the shifting global power dynamics as inevitable. The smarter play? Actually learn from what's working elsewhere.

There's real value in studying how rapid technological adoption happens at scale. Instead of viewing this as a zero-sum game, developed markets could benefit from examining successful models of coordinated innovation ecosystems. The question isn't whether change is coming—it's whether traditional financial hubs will adapt their approach before they're left behind.

The crypto and Web3 space has already shown us that innovation doesn't respect borders. Maybe it's time the old guard took notes.

The West really needs to wake up; sitting idly by will only lead to being swept away. We in crypto have known this principle for a long time.

The West really needs to wake up; if things continue like this, it will be overtaken sooner or later.

Haha, really, the West is still debating whether to learn it, while our crypto has already globalized!

ngl, the West is still talking about it on paper, while Asia has already started... Wait, are they serious about this "learning"? Or are they going to copy it again and then claim it's their innovation? Web3 has long been proven, this guy is right, just don't know if Wall Street can take it in. That TradFi stuff is outdated, still protecting their own little turf, it's laughable. It's not a crossroads at all; they are forced into a dead end while pretending to make a choice. The saying that encryption has no boundaries is really true. This kind of rhetoric comes up every year, and then what? The bottom line determines the brain; who will change if there's no benefit? Innovation in the ecosystem really needs to learn from Asia; they built it long ago without any fuss. The old guard really needs to wake up; if they keep playing dead, they'll be doomed. To put it simply, it's either evolution or being eliminated; there's no third way. How many times has this warning been given, yet no one listens...
