The chairman of the Solana Foundation publicly criticized traditional media: Stop using old tricks to undermine technological innovation.

The head of the Solana Foundation, Lily Liu, has recently gone all out, directly criticizing a certain traditional newspaper's reporting style on the technology and AI sectors.

Her attitude is very direct: these so-called “in-depth reports” have long since distorted; on the surface, they claim to be objective and neutral, but deep down, they are full of ideological biases. What is most frustrating is that these media always like to associate technological innovation and wealth growth with words like “exploitation” and “plunder,” as if innovation is an evil act.

But what is the reality? AI is currently a track where global capital is betting wildly, and countries are treating it as a strategic-level endeavor. This kind of deliberately slanderous reporting method, to put it bluntly, is simply out of touch with the rhythm of the times and is still using outdated narrative frameworks to understand the new world.

Industry leaders openly tearing apart traditional media is quite interesting in itself - it indicates that the conflict between the crypto circle and traditional public opinion has been brought to the forefront.

Traditional media is definitely outdated, still looking at Web3 through an ideological lens—what a joke. Lily Liu is right, they have no idea what innovation is, all they do is copy and paste old stories. This is exactly why we need to control our own narrative, don’t expect them to understand. Honestly, the future of crypto and AI is not in their hands at all. Finally, someone influential is saying this out loud—the conflict should’ve been laid bare long ago. Media is still bashing tech with a five-year-old mindset, who even believes that?

You are absolutely right, traditional media just can’t keep up with the pace. They always use ideology to trap new things, it's really frustrating. Solana's positioning this time is on point, it should break through this layer.

Traditional media's trap of rhetoric should really be thrown in the trash, just labeling everything Liu finally spoke out this time, tired of this set Not all rises are called exploitation, why won't you listen? This fight is well-fought, it should wake up those old-school journalists.

Lily Liu is spot on, traditional media just can't grasp the essence of Web3. Traditional media is still trying to understand the current world with a framework from ten years ago, it's hilarious. These old media outlets keep lamenting about technological innovation, but they've long been left behind by the times. The clash between the encryption world and traditional media should have been laid bare long ago. Media will always just spin stories, I really can't take their narratives seriously anymore. Finally, a pro has dared to speak out, they've been holding back for too long.

Traditional media really needs to reflect on itself. How can it possibly explain things clearly by rigidly applying outdated frameworks to new tracks? Always reheating old meals, unable to keep up with the rhythm, yet pretending to have depth is laughable. Lily Liu is right; it's indeed ridiculous to demonize innovation. Media should either do their homework or shut up; stop trying to ride the hype while trying to appear sophisticated. This kind of public opinion fracture should have already gotten liquidated; the confrontation between encryption and traditional discourse is clear. I'm waiting for traditional media to rebut, but I bet five dollars they will still use the same old tune. The statement about ideology leading is too accurate; they only know how to find materials based on predetermined positions. In the era of capital globalization, still using last century's thinking framework, isn't that ridiculous? True in-depth reporting has long been drowned out by marketing accounts; now it's just a matter of who can shout louder.

Traditional media just can't keep up with the rhythm, always wanting to label innovation negatively, it's laughable. --- Lily is right, those old newspapers are indeed still viewing Web3 with a last century mindset. --- Here we go again, a pro criticizes the media, but the problem is that the public is really easily brainwashed. --- That said, the encryption circle also needs to reflect on itself, stop pulling everything towards "being suppressed." --- Is it really necessary to tear each other apart over such trivial matters? Can't we just keep a low profile? --- The media's anxiety is overflowing; if they can't keep up, so be it, why do they have to criticize others? --- Finally, someone has broken this thin layer of glass, it's indeed been bothering people for a long time.
