Over the past year, several project parties have asked me for help promoting their tokens. The offers ranged from 1k to 10k, quite a wide span 😂
I rejected all of them. However, interestingly enough, every time I rejected, I opened a short position. And the result? The profits were even higher than the promotion fees they offered, basically fluctuating between 1 to 10 times. Some projects are indeed terribly bad, and shorting them is particularly enjoyable; there are also a few that can hold up, but the earnings are just a bit lower.
In summary, this way of playing is much more comfortable than receiving that bit of promotion fee and then damaging your own brand.
