To be honest, I understand the desire to attract attention, but it's really unnecessary to tamper with the data. Trust in project teams is already fragile, and once such small tricks are discovered, it will actually hurt their credibility even more.
When working on a project, one should be grounded; data should be presented honestly if it's reliable, and if it's not, focus on improving the product. Relying on retouching to create a presence may bring some short-term popularity, but in the long run, it will only damage the brand.
The crypto circle is small, and once you lose trust, it is truly difficult to regain it.
