Last month, a new limit order system appeared on Solana - reportedly the most advanced one to date.
It allows you to have complete control over the trading pace. Precision? Significantly improved. The most crucial aspect is that privacy protection is well implemented: your orders can be edited at any time, but no traces will be left on the chain before they are actually executed.
This V2 version is still in the testing phase, and you may occasionally encounter some minor issues. However, considering the improvements it brings - more flexible control, better privacy, and the freedom of "change it whenever you want" - it is indeed worth paying attention to for those trading on Solana.
The design concept of off-chain editing and on-chain execution is quite clever, as it ensures operational flexibility while avoiding the premature exposure of trading intentions. This is a nice tool upgrade for traders who require refined operations.

The logic of off-chain editing and on-chain execution is indeed quite interesting, but you have to be aware of the probability of things going wrong during beta testing.

This is what I want, execute off-chain to on-chain, wonderful!

Editing off-chain avoids exposing intentions, this design is indeed excellent. Just need to be more careful during the testing phase to avoid getting trapped.
---
Wow, this privacy protection is too meticulous, finally not being targeted by MEV hunters.
---
Wait, zero traces before on-chain execution? Does that mean you can change things at will without fear of being front-run? Solana's ecosystem is about to evolve again.
---
V2 is still in testing and it's being praised like this, if a bug occurs it will be awkward. But privacy is indeed a necessity.
---
Completely controlling the trading rhythm sounds great, but will it lead to costly mistakes when actually used?
---
This is exactly what I've always wanted, no need to expose my thoughts in advance. A bit tempting.
---
The limit order system has been upgraded thousands of times, but the ones that are truly usable are still few. Is this time reliable?
---
It's too annoying to expose intentions in advance, this trap logic really solves the pain point.
---
Editing off-chain and executing on-chain sounds simple, but can it really be that smooth on the code level? I'm a bit skeptical.

The off-chain hidden intention move is really amazing, no more worries about being targeted.
Wow, I love this privacy design, finally someone thought of this point.
Is V2 still in testing? Then I'll wait a bit, I can't handle a beta phase failure.
If this thing stabilizes, Solana's limit order ecosystem might get reshuffled.
Privacy + flexible control, this is the trading tool I want.
However, there are still risks with the test version, it's better to be cautious.
The freedom to change whenever is too important, it saves me from frequently canceling and redoing.

Editing off-chain and executing on-chain, this design concept is indeed elegant, MEV hunters need to start getting nervous, haha
---
Daring to use it in the testing phase? I see it's just pure experimentation for Solana
---
Privacy + flexibility, this is what traders really need, finally someone got it
---
Is V2 still in testing? Then I'll continue to observe, I don't want to step on a landmine
---
The freedom to change as you wish is incredible, no more being exploited by front-running trades
---
No traces on-chain? This is going to be tough for sandwich bots
---
Significant improvements in accuracy and such, I'm more concerned about when it can run stably

Off-chain order changes not on-chain? Isn't this the dream tool for MEV hunters, no longer having to worry about getting squeezed?

Wow, isn't this just tailor-made for someone like me who likes to change orders?
Off-chain order changes executed on-chain? Amazing, I finally don't have to worry about the market maker targeting my open orders anymore.
But it's still in the testing phase... I'm just afraid of diving in and getting played for suckers again.

ngl the off-chain editing thing is lowkey brilliant from a mechanism design perspective... but empirically speaking, we're just enabling more sophisticated front-running vectors here. where's the peer-reviewed analysis on this? 🤓
