Airdrop grabbing parties can't really be considered true community power. Project parties should stop using the phrase "community building"; instead of distributing tokens to this group of people, it would be more practical to directly buy back from the market and pump.

Hi, buybacks to pump the price? That’s a pretty absolute statement. Sure, airdrop hunters are annoying, but at least they can generate some hype.

Hmm... that's a harsh statement, but can buybacks really pump the price? This logic feels kind of surreal.

nah, this is where the alchemy breaks down tho... airdrop farmers aren't the problem, the *illusion* is. project teams just brewing cope when they could be doing actual protocol arbitrage spells on their own liquidity pools instead. but yeah, buybacks hit different when you're trying to transmute bag holders into believers fr

From a technical perspective, this viewpoint indeed hits the nail on the head. But to put it bluntly, a buyback pump can't save a project with a collapsing fundamental; it's just a different way to Be Played for Suckers.

It is said like this, but the repurchase pump still gets smashed... In the end, no one can escape the trap of being played for suckers.

ngl, this take misses the whole endurance game. like mile 20 in a marathon, you can't just skip the early community miles—sprinters burn out. accumulation phase needs bodies in the ecosystem, even if they're just water carriers rn. fundamentals shift when tvl actually grows tho

Ironically, buyback pump is more honest than airdrop, at least it doesn't pretend.

You are not wrong, the fur-pulling party is just here to Be Played for Suckers, what’s the point of pretending to be a community.

That being said, the coupon clippers really only know how to Clip Coupons, and they have no loyalty at all.

Buyback pump? Laughing to death, isn't it just playing people for suckers wave after wave.
