A leading exchange's 2025 transparency report: Law enforcement requests exceeded 12,000, with over half from overseas.

[Chain Text] A leading exchange has just released its transparency report for 2025, covering the data period from October 2024 to September 2025. During this year, they processed a total of 12,716 law enforcement requests from over 60 countries—formal processes such as subpoenas, court documents, and search warrants are included.

Does the number look exaggerated? In fact, it has only increased by 19% compared to last year. Looking at a longer time frame, it has remained stable between 10,000 and 13,000 over the past four years, with not much fluctuation.

There is a noticeable change: the proportion of requests from outside the United States has climbed to 53%, increasing by 2 percentage points from the previous period. Although the United States remains a major contributor, the trend towards globalization is evident—six countries (the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and Australia) account for approximately 80% of the request volume. From 2022 until now, the United States has consistently held the top position.

The platform has also stated: as long as these requests are legal and valid within the local legal framework, they must cooperate in responding. After all, compliance operation is the top priority.

More than 12,000 law enforcement requests are nothing. What I'm more concerned about is how much they actually cooperated... Submitting transparency reports is just a way of doing public relations, to put it bluntly.

lol 12k enforcement requests and people still think exchanges are decentralized... empirically speaking, the compliance theatre just keeps scaling. 53% non-US already? as predicted, regulators globally figured out the playbook. six countries controlling 80% of legal pressure is mathematically proof that jurisdiction shopping's dead.

12,000 law enforcement requests? This number, if we put it nicely, is called "transparency", but in reality, it just tells us that regulatory oversight is getting stronger, especially overseas. --- The share from the U.S. is still declining, while European countries are starting to make a strong push, indicating that exchanges will have to dance to the tune of global regulations sooner or later, with no choice. --- Stabilizing at over 10,000 requests, to put it bluntly, this is already a "normal state". Don't be frightened by the 19% rise; the key is to look at the trend—global regulation is only going to get stricter. --- Six countries contribute 80% of the request volume? This shows a concentration of power; market makers are facing more and more troubles, while suckers need to be cautious of compliance risks. --- The platform says, "We will cooperate with legitimate requests"; it sounds grand, but the real issue is, which requests are legitimate and which are fishing law enforcement? The authority to determine this still lies with them. --- Why does it feel like the exchange's transparency report is just like a Candlestick Chart? The data looks good, but the actual trading logic is hidden very well. --- The overseas share surpassing half in this reversal indeed has a significant impact, but for those of us doing day trading and swing trading, we need to focus on whether this will become an excuse for the next pump.

Hmm, overseas law enforcement requests account for over 50%, what does this indicate... Countries are starting to keep a close eye on exchanges. --- 12716 requests? Sounds like a lot, but on average it's not that bad, just feels like the regulatory reach is getting longer. --- The US still ranks at the top, but Europe is also making significant moves; the compliance costs are likely to rise considerably. --- The transparency report sounds quite official, but are exchanges really following the rules... It comes down to trust. --- The data showing over 50% from overseas is interesting; it feels like global regulation is really collaborating, and small exchanges probably can't withstand it. --- Six countries account for 80% of the request volume? This is what they call the "developed country club" applying pressure. --- That's a 19% increase from last year; it seems the growth rate isn't that fast, or maybe everyone has already gotten used to being checked. --- The question is, how many of these 12,000 requests actually involve illegal cases... or are they all just baiting administrative actions?
