Don't remind me again today

#ETH巨鲸增持 What does it feel like to be suffocated by the market? Credit card Transaction History, online loan collections, family members arguing every day - it feels like falling into a bottomless pit, struggling without finding a foothold.

Last month, a friend who has been in the game for three years came to me. He had only 2000U left, and he was so out of it that he spoke like he was floating. He asked me if there was still a chance to recover his losses.

I didn't sugarcoat it. I asked him directly: "Can you review your liquidation records?"

After finishing the translation, I laughed - isn't this just a replica of my 2021 experience? In a hurry to recoup my losses, I leveraged my position, and when I incurred losses, I thought about going all in next time to recover. As a result, I kept stepping into the same pit every time.

His advice actually has no mystery:
Divide the principal into small portions, set a stop-loss for each trade, and don't expect to double your investment in one go. Sounds basic, right? But he couldn't do it before.

This time he really came according to the rules.

The account started to increase little by little—it's not that kind of violent surge that crashes overnight, but a steady rise of a few points every day. On the 7th day, he sent me a screenshot and said this was the first time he felt that profits could be replicated, not just a gamble based on luck.

He said he cried while looking at his account balance. I can understand that feeling.

I asked him to take out a portion immediately to secure the profits. You can never predict whether the market will reverse in the next second; having cash on hand is much more reliable than just the numbers on paper.

What I want to say is - being stuck in a deep pit doesn't mean you can't climb out; often, it just requires you to stop, slow down the pace, and take steady steps.

No one can make you rich overnight; it’s all a scam.
But if you are on the brink of liquidation right now and the pressure is so great that you can't sleep, I want to tell you: you are not the only one struggling on this path.

Maintain a steady mindset and control your position; it's more effective than any technical indicator.

If you are feeling overwhelmed by the market right now, take a moment to reflect on your Transaction History. I can't guarantee that you'll turn things around immediately, but at least I can help you identify where the problem lies—don't be like me back in the day, realizing the same mistake after making it three times.

Really, stop loss sounds simple but is hard to implement... I was the same way last year, going all in, all in, and all in again, and in the end, I could only cry.

Really, after reading this, it strikes a chord. Back in 2021, I was just like that, All in All in again, only to realize what "stability" means when my account hit zero. I understand how my fren is seriously executing stop loss this time; that feeling of "profit being replicable" is indeed different. The key is to stop the gambler's mentality, but to be honest, not many can actually do it.

Indeed, stop loss is easy to say but hard to do. I also fell into the same trap several times before I realized.

To be honest, this 2000U fren is just my mirror from half a year ago... It's much better now but still easy to get reckless and leverage up.
