Don't remind me again today

This Web3 project is quite interesting: a gamified DEX that refuses private sales.

[Coin World] has a new project that is quite interesting, combining a decentralized exchange with dark fantasy RPG gaming. The DEX, targeting the Asian market, allows players to truly own on-chain assets within the game.

The most special thing is their approach - directly refusing to allow private placement funds to enter. Why? Because they don't want to be dumped by large holders. They treat users as true governors, rather than waiting to be exploited for liquidity. This model of risk-free investment + community governance is a rather different path in a market dominated by a bunch of VC coins.

The combination of games and DeFi is not new, but there are indeed not many that dare to play with governance mechanisms like this.

Refusing private sales is indeed quite ruthless. But can they withstand it... --- Another gamified DEX has come, but will they really not play people for suckers this time? Let's believe half of it. --- I'm curious to see how those who dare to refuse private sales will finance themselves later, and how long community crowdfunding can last. --- The Asian market + dark RPG + on-chain assets have many selling points, but I'm afraid it's just concept over reality again. --- There have been projects that have tried the no private sale approach, but the key still lies in development progress and community maintenance. --- Giving governance rights to the community sounds great, but how many people actually participate? It's still just a few big influencers leading the pace. --- I've seen a lot of games + Decentralized Finance, but very few survive beyond six months... What makes this one different? --- I give full marks for refusing VC, but let's see how good their execution is. --- Wait, is this really not financing or did they get angel investment but just won't say? It's a bit suspicious. --- What does risk-free investment mean? It can't be completely risk-free, can it? How are they blowing this up?

no private funding? data suggests this gets rugpulled within 18 months, statistically speaking.

Refusing private sales is brilliant; finally, someone doesn't want to be played for suckers by VC daddies. Daring to play like this, community autonomy still relies on users' real money. Game + DEX sounds good, but how to ensure it won't turn into a market maker's cash cow? How long can this model last? Let's gamble and give it a try.

Rejecting the private sale tactic has indeed been proven to prevent dumping. However, the key still lies in whether the protocol architecture can hold up.
