I originally wanted to cancel an order, but in the moment I refreshed the page, the price suddenly "returned to normal"—it was clearly more expensive when I placed the order. I've seen this kind of operation many times, but every time I still can't help but want to curse.
Simply put, it’s the old routine: your browsing history, spending habits, and even the duration of your visits are all used by the backend for modeling. The system determines that you "are willing to pay a higher price," and the price quietly goes up; when you hesitate to request a refund, it pretends nothing happened and lowers the price back down.
These centralized platforms are really not pretending anymore. User data is completely a black box operation, and you never know if the price you see is "custom-tailored". In the past, they were still being discreet about it, but now they are directly robbing you.
It's no wonder that more and more people are starting to pay attention to the transparency of on-chain transactions—at least the data is there, and no one can secretly change the price tag for you.

I've seen through it long ago, this trap has been played out.

Damn, got caught in a pig-butchering scam again? Refreshing the price just made it plummet, I'm sick of this trap.
Once again, I was calculated by the Algorithm.
