Don't remind me again today

#数字资产市场观察 tonight could be very exciting - four forces are stirring the market at the same time, will Powell's speech be the catalyst?

Let’s start with the most dramatic scene: the interest rate cut expectations this week were like a roller coaster. Last week, the market was betting on an 80% chance of a rate cut, and ETH jumped directly from 2800 to nearly 3100. As a result, this morning a rumor that "Powell might resign due to the new chairman candidate" suddenly caused an uproar, panic spread instantly, and short-term fluctuations surged. Can you feel the rhythm? Isn’t it a bit surreal?

What’s worse is that the tariff policy is still hanging in the air. The market is waiting for when that liquidity will actually come in – once it is officially implemented in December, crypto assets are likely to welcome a new catalyst. But the problem is, no one can say for sure what the specific timeline is.

The personnel changes at the Federal Reserve are becoming clearer. Trump is likely to officially announce a new chair candidate before Christmas, with the popular candidate Hassett being highly aligned with him on interest rate cuts. If there really is a change, will the pace of easing policy accelerate? This would theoretically be a long-term positive for $BTC and $ETH.

But there is a pitfall to be aware of: the ETH hard fork upgrade is coming the day after tomorrow. In such "fully priced" technical events, what we fear the most is that good news turns into bad news in an instant. The market has already digested the expectations in advance; will it take the opportunity to pull back and offload?

To be honest, the current market liquidity is ridiculously poor, even worse than when ETH dropped to $1000. Poor liquidity + amplified volatility, in such an environment, chasing highs and cutting losses is particularly dangerous. Powell's speech tonight will definitely have a short-term impact, but the Federal Reserve has long prepared backup plans; his personal stay or departure actually won't change the overall direction.

The focus should still be on the signals of the substantial implementation of policies, rather than the short-term noise of market sentiment.

BTC-8.06%

With such poor liquidity, are you still daring to chase? Wake up, brother, whatever Powell says is in vain. This hard fork is probably going to catch a falling knife again, expectations are already fully priced in. Let's talk when the policy is actually implemented, right now it's all noise. This rhythm is indeed magical, 80% becoming 20% so quickly. The tariff policy hasn't even appeared yet, liquidity is this bad, really don't know who's catching the falling knife.

Liquidity is really disappointing; if this hard fork gets dumped, I’ll just go eat noodles. --- Powell's speeches really are a show; every time he talks, it creates a good drama. --- Wait, so the tariff policy has to land before liquidity gets dumped in? This logic is a bit off. --- Expectations have already been fully priced in; if it really dares to fall the day after tomorrow, I’ll buy the dip. --- Instead of listening to Powell's nonsense, it’s better to see how Trump announces things before Christmas. --- With liquidity being this bad, there are still people willing to chase the price; that takes guts. --- When ETH got dumped from 3100, I knew tonight wouldn’t be peaceful. --- Things like hard fork upgrades often end up with favourable information turning into unfavourable information.

Is it worth chasing with such poor liquidity? Just wait to be dumped. --- Most likely to plummet on the day of the Hard Fork, as these anticipated events are the easiest to reverse. --- To put it bluntly, we are just waiting for the policies to truly materialize; right now it’s all just castles in the air. --- Whether Powell resigns or not doesn’t really affect us; the key is how the Fed moves real money. --- ETH skyrocketed from 2800 to 3100 and then dropped again; this operation is really something. --- With liquidity this poor, I don’t dare to go all in tonight. --- Expectations of personnel changes are a good thing, but don’t celebrate too early; this market changes face faster than flipping a book. --- Tariff policies are hanging in the balance; no one can predict how December will play out. --- Don’t be led by short-term emotions; what you should focus on is the actual implementation of policies. --- This rhythm is truly surreal; it was still rising in the morning and suddenly it collapsed.

With such poor liquidity, are you still daring to chase? At that time, a single word from Powell could lead to dumping, and you won't even be able to escape.

With such poor liquidity, are you still daring to chase? I think it's just betting on how high Powell's rhetoric can pump it. Wait, shouldn't we reduce position on the day of the hard fork... When ETH directly got dumped from 3100, I knew this wave of market wasn't that simple; no matter how many topics there are, it's all in vain. To put it bluntly, it's just waiting for policies to materialize; right now, it's all a game of expectations.

With such poor liquidity, do you still dare to chase? It looks like a rhythm waiting to be trapped, anything Powell says is useless. --- Another act of ETH hard fork turning from favourable information to unfavourable information, I've seen enough of this trick. --- Can Hassett really accelerate interest rate cuts? I feel like it's just a front, in the end, we still have to see the policy implementation. --- An 80% probability of interest rate cuts directly plunging into panic, this market operation is truly surreal, I'll just wait to see who catches the falling knife in the end. --- To put it bluntly, it’s about betting on Powell's words, isn’t that overthinking it a bit, everyone? --- With the tariff policy hanging in the air, ETH breaking 3100 is just like that, the real show starts when it lands in December. --- With liquidity this poor and still chasing the price, isn't that looking for death? Tonight might be even uglier.
