Yearn Attack Follow-up: On-chain "White Hat Negotiation" is a phishing trap, the attacker's Address still holds $6 million in assets.

Abstract generation in progress

【比推】After Yearn's incident, the so-called “white hat negotiations” news that suddenly emerged on-chain? Don't believe it, that's a fishing trap. Yu Xian from Slow Mist has already confirmed that this trick is exactly the same as when Balancer was hacked.

The attacker was well-prepared this time—starting their layout 28 days in advance, specifically creating a low Gas address, and then hiding themselves thoroughly through the Railgun protocol. After successfully executing their plan, they directly used Tornado Cash to wash out 1,000 ETH.

However, the matter is not over yet. The attacker’s wallet still holds approximately 6 million dollars worth of crypto assets, and it is uncertain how it will be handled next. This meticulously planned attack was executed smoothly at every step, from preparation to retreat, which is indeed troubling.

Seeing the white hat negotiation immediately triggered a defensive reaction. This trick has really been overused, never seem to learn the lesson. --- $6 million is still lying in the wallet. Is this guy planning to play poker with law enforcement? --- Railgun + Tornado Cash, that combo skill is maxed out. Gotta respect the attacker’s patience. --- Another 28-day advance setup—this isn’t a hacker, it’s a project manager, the planning is insanely detailed. --- Others are phishing and you just rush right in. Happens every time—have you all learned your lesson yet? --- On-chain white hat negotiations only have two possibilities: either it’s phishing, or it’s still phishing. --- SlowMist’s Cosine came out to clarify the rumors, which is reassuring for us—saves us from getting scammed again.

This guy is really something else—he set up 28 days in advance and used Railgun to hide his tracks. It's practically a textbook case for committing a crime. Don’t be fooled by any “white hat negotiation” talk; I’ve seen this kind of phishing scheme too many times. $6 million is just sitting there like that—how it gets handled will depend on what happens next. With such a meticulously planned attack, it’s no wonder Yearn got completely crushed.

Oh no, another wave of fishing drama, I really need to be more cautious. This guy's tactics are indeed remarkable, lying in ambush for 28 days in advance, that patience is just incredible. 6 million is still in the account, just afraid it’s another trap.

White hat negotiation? Laughing to death, it's the same old trick again. Yearn's move is truly absurd, it started laying the groundwork 28 days ago, the professionalism is really amazing. 6 million dollars haven't moved yet, feels like there will be a big show coming up.

White hat negotiation? Laughing to death, these people really think we are fools. 6 million hasn't moved, feels like something is about to happen. The details of this attack method are really speechless, the combination of Railgun and Tornado is a living textbook. 28 days of groundwork, really very patient. I remembered Balancer that time, the trap indeed hasn't changed.

This guy is ruthless, laying out plans 28 days in advance, how lacking in morality can one be? 6 million still sitting in the Wallet, waiting to be frozen? White hat negotiations? Ha, here we go again, isn't the lesson from Balancer enough? This tactic is indeed brilliant, the combination of Railgun + Tornado Cash, lucky that Slow Mist has good eyes. 1000 ETH has already been washed out, what are they planning to do with the rest, freeze it or what? People like this really must have a twisted mind, and they know how to hide it so well. Feels like 6 million is just a time bomb, it will be exposed sooner or later.

This guy really put in a lot of effort, lying in ambush for 28 days in advance, this is not a spur of the moment decision. Yearn probably needs to seriously reflect on its security architecture this time, it's too outrageous.

I'll be direct here, Yearn's fishing this time is truly exceptional. Lying in ambush for 28 days in advance, I think it belongs to professional ethics.

The white hat negotiation trap is really outrageous, and there are indeed people who have fallen for it. Yearn has been played quite badly this time, the 28-day setup is incredibly meticulous. 6 million USD is still on-chain, it's absurd.

White hat negotiation? Laughing to death, this is an old trick, these hackers just love to play like this. Washing money on-chain is like playing a game, 28 days of groundwork, Railgun hiding, Tornado Cash Rug Pull, a one-stop service, really professional. 6 million hasn't moved yet, feels like waiting for something... or just gambling that law enforcement can't find it.
