[Block Rhythm] A HYPE heavy position player who has been followed by the market has not been doing well lately. This mysterious whale, rumored to have made early arrangements, is holding a 5x leverage go long on HYPE, and is currently facing a loss of over 10 million dollars on paper.
Data shows that his entry cost is around $39.18, while the liquidation line is at $22.84 - this means that if the price drops another 40% or so, this multi-million position will be liquidated.
High leverage can indeed amplify returns, but during market corrections, risks are also released exponentially. This wave of unrealized losses has sounded an alarm for the market: no matter how optimistic one is about a target, position management and risk control are always the top priority. After all, the distance to the liquidation price is sometimes more worth paying attention to than the distance to the moon.

Using 5x leverage on HYPE, with unrealized losses of 10 million still thinking about the moon... buddy, the liquidation line is right in front of you, stop thinking so far ahead.

This is the consequence of high leverage; no matter how promising the coin looks, it can't withstand the pullback. Losing millions, and still having to watch the liquidation price approach, it's really hard to hold on.

Using 5x leverage for HYPE is indeed quite intense; it's amazing to stay calm even with unrealized losses in the millions.

This whale is too ruthless, using 5x leverage on HYPE and directly facing unrealized losses of tens of millions. I calculated that this is only 40% away from getting liquidated. How strong must one's mentality be to handle this?

Using 5x leverage on HYPE is indeed a bit extreme, now facing unrealized losses of 10 million, this feeling... is truly a living textbook example.
HYPE Whale 5x leverage long order unrealized losses of 10 million USD, only 40% margin left before liquidation.
