#数字货币市场回升 Fed may welcome a new leader? Hassett just made a public statement.

The news came quite suddenly – White House National Economic Council Director Hassett just stated that he "would be very willing to do the job" if nominated to succeed the Fed chair. This statement has directly pushed him to the front of the candidate list to succeed Powell.

Why is this matter related to the crypto market?

The key lies in Hassett's policy inclination. This economic advisor, labeled as a "radical dove" by Wall Street, has been publicly criticizing the current interest rate policy for being too conservative, advocating for a faster pace of interest rate cuts. If he really takes over the Fed, a shift towards loose monetary policy is almost a certainty.

Historical experience tells us that every time the liquidity gates are opened, the places where capital has the sharpest sense are often in the alternative asset markets. Assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum are usually the preferred options for institutional allocation during a loose cycle—not because of belief, but purely because capital needs to seek returns.

What can ordinary investors do?

Several observations that are not considered suggestions:

First, large-cap cryptocurrencies may move first. The liquidity of $BTC and $ETH is there, and institutional funds will inevitably test these two pools first.

Secondly, volatility will be amplified. When there are changes in policy expectations, market sentiment tends to polarize, and managing positions is more important than chasing gains.

Third, don't be scared away by short-term price increases. If a loosening cycle truly occurs, the duration of the market may be longer than you think — provided that the fundamental logic does not collapse.

Polymarket's prediction market data shows that the probability of Hassett taking office has already surpassed 50%. Of course, predictions are predictions, and ultimately it will depend on the official appointment process. But at least the market has started to price in this possibility.

That said, the crypto market has always been full of variables. Favorable policies are one thing, but actual trends are another. Maintain rational judgment and don't let expectations get too far ahead of reality.

The dovish faction coming to power indeed makes it easier for point shaving, but is this wave of recovery in the crypto world really just based on policy expectations? It feels like the same old story.

Haha, it's another story of a three-year cycle. History really does repeat itself. Only when the easing comes does the crypto world have vitality.

The dovish stance indeed makes it easier for point shaving, but don't expect a linear pump like in 2021 this time... Institutions will act more cautiously this time.

If Hasett really rises to power, liquidity will explode directly. BTC and ETH have been waiting for this moment, right? With the arrival of the easing cycle, institutional funds won't be able to escape.

Well... it’s another round of policy pricing games, and this time it’s the Fed changing personnel. But to be honest, if Hassett really takes office, it’s hard to say whether BTC can benefit from this wave of dividends.

nah fr, loose monetary policy just means easier frontrunning for the big players. watch the dark forest light up when liquidity opens... institutions don't move BTC first out of faith lol, they're just hunting that MEV spread before retail even loads their wallets.
