On Wednesday next week (December 3rd), Ethereum is planning a big move - the second Mainnet upgrade Fusaka in 2025 is about to go live. This name is quite interesting, as it combines Fulu and Osaka.
This time it's not just a small skirmish; the consensus layer and execution layer are both going to take action. The core purpose is very clear: to allow various Layer 2 networks to run more smoothly on Ethereum. After all, with so many second layers crowding to use Ethereum as their foundation, the processing capacity needs to keep up with the pace.
